    This is going to be nothing more then a large amount of chinese specialty stores. If not now, then within 3 years. Anyone that thinks that this will actually be a "downtown" in the classic sense is fooling themselves. The stupidest part about this is there already IS a downtown Markham. It's Mainstreet Markham.

    The section of the Mall housing the professional offices and some of the shops including a grocery store still stands. The Shoppers Drug Mart which was in the Mall before is has now been moved to a new free standing building and there are several new businesses as well. The area which appears to be empty on the map now has new brick townhouses which appear to be almost ready for occupancy.

    Bongo Wireless is by far the best import cellular shop in all of GTA in my opinion. They have an onsite technician for cellular repairs and they can do almost anything when it comes to firmware problems as well. Great selection of phones and they have warranty too. Check them out!
